The creators of Wizard101 have gone to great lengths, apparently, to create original music pieces for each area and world of Wizard101, and that is something special every player should appreciate on some level for the effort that goes into our favorite game.
However, some more seasoned players who have logged many months, and yes years, on the game get tired quick of the same digital tunes and put their own individualized music on when playing Wizard101; some of my friends who responded to my survey say that their music actually helps them when in those tough fights.

Valkoor Legend says he listens to Big Band music, usually playing Rat Patrol Radio for that WW2 Glen Miller music. His girlfriend who is a new addict to the game, Heather Firewalker, listens to Tchaikovsky, Berlioz, or Rachmaninov...
Valdus Legend says he listens to Classic Rock Hits on Pandora.
Talon Shadowwalker listens to Techno, or he listens to Tiesto (best DJ in the world!)
My brother used to listen to the soundtrack of Conan the Barbarian (the one and only Arnold) -- try listening to Riddle of Steel or Riders of Doom while in a boss fight.
I used to listen to pop rock, until I heard some of my friends' suggestions, now I try varying it up while fighting on Wizard101. I got to admit, some of their suggestions do get the blood flowing while fighting, and seem to add to the game.
